The Nintendo Indie World presentations tend to be a mixed bag, as they usually consist of one big announcement, wrapped in lots of filler. It's unclear why it would need this, considering it's not a resource-intensive game, but it might be released as a definitive edition with extra content in the future. Axiom Verge 2 is already playable on PS5 through its backward compatibility feature, but it appears that it will receive a dedicated version.
